Food and Freezer scam New Home Owners BEWARE, Targeting the Insland Empire

In June right after the purchase of our 1rst new home, I received a friendly phone call from a lady representing a company named Quality Foods. Not wanting to hear what she had to say, she was able to engage me in a conversation that led to an appointment with a Sales Rep the very next day. Still sceptic, we received the gentleman named Brett Countryman the next evening in our home. Brett explained that he could save us money and time with his products. He seductively reeled my husband and I into his sales pitch explaining the 100% guarantee, restaurant quality meat, no hormone induced, no antibiotics, grain fed, you can cut with a fork beef, chicken, pork and fish you could eat raw.
Brett explained that all of the meat was flash frozen guaranteed to last in your freezer for up to 18 months. I couldn't believe that this was such a good deal... (should have went with my gut feelings and told Brett to hit the road at that moment would have saved me $7,000.00. When I ask about where would I store that much food, Brett explained that they would provide the freezer. Brett stated that this is a top of the line commercial freezer that would cost our electricity bill no more than $4-$5 a month to run. Brett also stated that we had to have their freezer in order to complete their guarantee. To top everthing off, the part that sealed the deal was when we were told that at anytime we became dissatisfied with any of the products or the service we could cancel, the freezer would be picked up and we would be charged ONLY for the food we had used. I placed every scenario before Brett on what ifs. He had the answer for everthing, 100% guaranteed. What does that mean to Quality Foods???
The very next day the freezer and ALL the food was delivered, I wasn't at home, but my husband was. My husband brought to my attention that the freezer didn't lock and that was a main concern of mine, especially with small children running around. I was afraid that the freezer would be left open. I called the phone # on the package and could only leave a voice mail. I started to have bad feelings and remembered that I only had 3 days to cancel, Right of Recission. I received a voice mail from Tony stating that they would replace the freezer (still have all 3 voice mails from Tony) I tried to return the call I started to get frantic. I had signed my name to a contract and wasn't able to talk to anyone. I left a voice mail stating I wanted to cancel, I was still within my 3 days. No return call.
In the meantime when I went to the freezer to examine my meat I found that almost all of the meat was freezer burnt. The meat that wasn't freezer burnt is not even close to the quality presented by Brett. The fish is horrible. I was really paniced and called again and left voice mail after voice mail for an immediate return call. Tony called my cell while I was at work stating that they would be out to bring me a new freezer. I had not seen or heard from anyone at Quality Foods. I also believe that Jefferson Financial is in this scam with Quality Foods. Oh, did I mention that my electricity bill has risen to a new high, couldn't be the top of the line commercial freezer that would only cost me $4-$5 dollars a month to freeze my already freezer burnt food... Could it? I am unable to contact Brett Countryman with the phone # he left for me to call with any concerns. Unable to contact anyone with the Customer Service phone # 800-418-4588.
We have suffered a terrible experience and I am writing this for all those smart people who are researching this company because they are considering the purchase, this is your WARNING. For all of the others like me, I'm sorry. I just want to thank one person at Quality Foods and that would be Michelle for not keeping very good records on previous appointments. I couldn't believe my ears when she called me early last week wanting to set up another appointment. I told her I would love to. She sent another rep out named Leo and I let him run his pitch while this time I video taped it and then showed him his QUALITY FREEZER BURNT FOOD. We believe that all of the people who have been victimized by Quality Foods, Gourmet Foods, LTT Gourmet Foods or any other ficticious business operated by Tony Perchemilian should ban together and file a class action suit against him to try to recoup our losses.
