I worked for this company for 3 months before I realized what a worthless liar Ron Kleinmeyer really was. This is a man with no conscience, morals or ethics, who preys on trusting drivers... Luring them in with promises of big money and nice trucks. I should have cut my losses when my first paycheck bounced, but times are hard and jobs are harder to come by. Each week my paycheck came later and later, promising me that it was mailed on Friday, only to find the postmark was processed on Monday or Tuesday, it didn't really matter when it was mailed because check after check bounced. My bank called to verify funds, released the money to me upon verification only to turn my account completely upside down when the funds were gone by the time the check got to his bank. It was always his bank's fault, not his. It got to the point that my bank would no longer accept his checks and he had to moneygram the money, then he just quit paying at all. There was always some reason, 2 weeks went by, then 3, then 4. Sometime inbetween he claimed he was diagnosed with throat cancer... Then miraculously cured... Whatever. I called and texted non-stop, still have all of them on my phone..."Ron, when am I going to get paid?", "Ron, you said you would pay me yesterday and you didn't", etc. Now I know why he doesn't have voicemail on his cellphone.
I called the US Dept. Of Labor and got them involved. I also called the Marion Police Dept. To tell them what was going on and they said they knew him well. A Detective who is currently working on this business said that he gets calls like this every few months, he turns over all of his drivers like this... Strings them along and then just stops paying them. He told me that Ron has to go collect his trucks from different places in the country after the drivers get totally frustrated and fed up, abandoning their trucks. I hope DOT, IRS, US Dept. Of Labor and the Marion Police Dept. Crawl so far up his butt that he needs to have them surgically removed. He runs illegally, forces his guys to run illegally, doesn't keep proper documentation, etc., but above all is a liar, a thief, and a no-good son-of-a-b*tch who needs to be shut down.
