USA Express Moving inflated the cost of my move on moving day by $1300.00. This was due to the addition of approximate 25 boxes. However, a few days prior I added 20 boxes to the inventory and it only increased my move estimate by $110.00.
Therefore, the additional 25 boxes should have only cost $150.00 - $200.00 more on move day. Representatives from the company do not return phone calls and have lost faxes that I have had to send over ten times. The movers broke several items and lost an expensive step ladder. As reimbursement, they offered me $60.00 after I filled out several forms.
They then delayed sending me a release form to receive this $60.00. Upon finally receiving this release form, I signed and faxed it back immediately. After a few weeks, I faxed it again, three or four times in a day just to make sure it would be received. It has now been three months.
I have faxed this release form to them over ten times in the last three months. I have left messages with the Claims Manager and she does not return my calls. My check for $60.00 has never been received. I have never dealt with a more dishonest and incompetent company. It is my desire to prevent anyone from using them, in hopes their business will go under.
