We have bought Lazy Boy furniture for over 45 yrs. Our current couch, chair and Love seat was purchased from Lazy Boy in late 1999, we are retired and no one else lives with us. The frame and metal mechanism broke last night on our loveseat. We bought LB because of the terrible warranty, we have only had to use once on previous furniture. I called LazyBoy Showcase in Mesa and was told they no longer have the warranty we were given. They said bring the seat to Phx (we live in far east Mesa) and they would charge us 60 bucks to look at it to see if the part is warranteed and if so we can have the part if we want to fix it ourselves, if we want them to fix it they charge $60 and hr. Labor!
This is a rip off, this is not the warranty we were given when we purchased this furniture for well over 3000 bucks. We are Sr. Citizens and hauling a loveseat to Phoenix is not possible/
Beware if you are looking at LazyBoy furniture now, their Warranty is not no better than Ashley's or any other furniture store, just buy your furniture at a garage sale and save your money!!
