I purchased a 3 year security service on June 9. At that time, a sales representative contacted me over the phone and told me that the security hardware would be delivered to my home and that I would have to set it up. The price would be $29.95 per month. I was told my contract would end in three years, and if I moved, I could take the hardware with me and transfer service to a new home. I attempted to contact Protect America several times between April and May (1-800-951-5136). I was disconnected or put on hold for half and hour. When I finally spoke with a customer service representative on June 11, I was told I had been automatically renewed for an additional year. When I complained, this person hung up the phone on me. Since then, I have attempted to mediate with Protect America through the Better Business Bureau (case # 90154124). A Wanda Mata responded to my complaint, but never provided proof that I had agreed to a renewal at any point in time (including when I signed up for service in 2006). Her "agents" (Kyle, Edward, Brandon, Tejal and Zef) have been harassing me with phone calls, and sending bills every month.
