The company Business Filings Division attempts to deceive consumers by presenting themselves as representatives of the State of California or agents acting on the behalf of the Secretary of State, Business Division, State of California.
CAUTION: They mail flyers which mimic the appearance of official State of California forms for the filing of Statement of Information of corporations with the state of California. Their forms attempt to imitate the state form in most every way including the use of a bogus State of California Seal.
In order to avoid Criminal charges, they do include in fine print at the bottom of their form a statement advising that their Service has not been approved or endorsed by any government agency and that they are not a government agency.in addition they do not use an actual State of California Seal on their form, but an imitation seal with the name of Business Filings Division California.
