I was approached by a young female selling magazine to help her and other college bound students to go on a planned trip before summer end. I was convinced that the company was legit and that I would receive my subscription within 2 weeks. After given the young lady a check ($52) for the magazine, I suspected that she may not have been forthcoming and honest. The next day, I contacted the 800 number listed on the receipt to cancel my order.
I was told that the subscription would be cancelled, however when I checked my back statement, I noticed that the check had already cleared. These people work quickly. I have been contacting these people for the past two plus months asking about my refund without any success. These people are scam artist and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. This occurred in Charleston, West Virginia and this has been the second year I have seen these people.
