Unacceptable service on all levels

We were considering using their service in our firm until I called them to cancel my COBRA benefits from my previous employer. My old firm had over 40,000 employees and outsourced their HR to Hewitt Associates. My first attempt was to call the 800 # that was provided from my previous employer. I was instructed by their employee, who barely spoke english, to let the policy lapse by not paying the bills that they would be sending me. Perhaps that is the way they do it in his country. I told him that I would ffel more comfortable just faxing a letter to them if possible. He instructed me to do it on-line on the website so I tried to do it with him on the phone but my password did not work. They sent me a new password but when I tried that, their system locked me out due to too many attempts. I called them and after being on hold for 15 minutes they told me they would have to send me another password in the mail and to call them once I received it. I just received it in the mail and called them. I spoke to a rep. For 2 minutes and she put me on hold for 24 minutes without picking up the phone once. Is this service? I read their bullshit website and they claim to be so great. When she picked back up I requested a manager. Five mins. Later she comes back and tells me none available and they will get back to me within 24 hours. What a company. I would think twice before outsourcing any work to them.
