New York Magazine that I don't subscribe Melville New York

I got a letter from North Shore Agency yesterday demanding to pay $17.97 for which I never received notice from New York Magazine. The title on the letter says Account Status: Delinquent.

Does anybody have an idea if it affects our credit report? If so is there a way to sue these scumbags?
