This guy is truly a rip-off. Maybe greedy is a better description. He charges $200 for a mediocre permit to carry class while other excellent instructors only charge $75-$125. My previous instructor only charged $65 for a superior class 5 years ago... BEWARE!
You will find other great instructors on Rosenberg's forum that charge about half what Rosenberg charges. Guys like Don Larson and Andrew Rothman are 2 names of superior instructors that post on Rosenberg's forum and charge much less.
Oh yeah, be careful when you go to his forum. If you don't suck-up to him he will permanently ban you. When I say PERMANENTLY, I mean he'll block your IP address so you can't even surf his forum.
FWIW, there are also excellent permit to carry instructors over on the MNguntalk.com forum. Just be sure to check around before giving money to Joel Rosenberg.
