Ethan opened furnace said he saw rust & mold in the furnace unit which would cost $325. I agreed to the service. Many of items checked on the list were not done.
Ethan next told me I needed a $650 Germicidal UV Cleanser that it would end dust, pollens, mold and viruses.
I said I was very sick. I am considered most severely disabled by the state of CA.
I had been out of work since Oct. I explained the type of viruses I had lived in my blood the UV light could not help.
I was reading the literature he gave me. It stated air had to flow through the system.
I explained I do not run my AC or heat due to the cost of electricity. I could not afford more bills. His exact statement was just let it sit there then.
Instead of taking the unit out.
Also it is the filter that cleans the dust & pollen not the UV light.
I spent the next week trying to reason with the general manager Joe who stated he would help me. He stated diagnosing my multiple medical illness without a MD degree and told me how the UV would help. I asked for his email so I could send my medical history. Joe said his email was [email protected]. I emailed my entire medical history and some photos of what dealing with this company had caused. It was humiliating to send my entire personal medical history to proof I was not a liar.
Joe stated he could have someone come get the $650 unit.
Ocean Air Care would keep the $450 unit give me $150 refund. I went over and over that I didn't use the furnace. Also I had been told my electric bill would only increase by $2 month. I called So CA Edison was told if I started running the unit my electric bill would be significantly more.
I requested that the unit be removed and added to their IRS business loss.

There is no compassion, humanistic characteristic quality at this company. I asked it they would do this to their elderly sick mother. I was told it was a business. I could take them to court. My story is not unlike the others posted about their experience with Ocean Air Care which doesn't care
