PLEASE, DO NOT go to work for this woman. YOU WILL NOT GET PAID! All you will get are excuses. I am out about $120, not a big huge amount compared to some of the other callers, who are out thousands of dollars. But June is a heavy bill month for us, and we didn't need to take a hit like this. NOT GOOD!!!

I worked 12 hours for her last week setting appointments, and the quality of my work was very good. Now, I find out that I am not getting paid for my time. Neither are the other callers, and neither is her manager.

There have been several attempts to contact this woman via phone. Finally, she picked up the phone today and spoke with one of my fellow employees, and with her manager. Here is the convoluted email that was sent in response to our inquiries about payment for our time:

As most of you know me, I want to let each of you know the situation I am in at this time. I have purchased Sam Dobbin's client list and hours due to clients, that has been paid, but the work not performed, which this puts me at a total of 382 hours to clients, this list was purchased for back payment that Sam Dobbins owed to me, in the amount of 3,000.00. I do have a signed agreement for this, by Sam Dobbins and myself, should any of you like a copy of it. Today I have been working to get the clients spreadsheet in order for my hours to begin on each on Monday, until I received a rather disturbing voice mail from Mr Dobbins, stating that he had gotten to keep the 3 grand, and I had now become obligated to the clients for a few grand as well and he wanted to thank me for that, (I hate to admit it but I should have never trusted) not clearly understanding why this voice mail, came about
I called Mr Dobbins, who states he had contact with all clients and did not have a *non-disclosure* agreement signed, and there-fore he could contact the clients, and that each knew when Americas Marketing fails, that Sam Dobbins, Cold Call King, will be standing in 20 years, while that may be true and I may fail at what I am trying to accomplish (which is to reopen my company that has been closed for the past four years while I was working for Sam) I will not fail at being true to myself and being true and honest with each and every one of you. That is something I do pride myself upon, and will not falter from it. Janice, Pam, Martha, Joanna, Cathering, Jeania, etc, while your total owed to each of you is very high, and I know well in excess of 6.500.00 for the past work you have performed, I did not take over the past due amounts and payments owed to the staff, only the hours to the clients.
Lou, Lindey, Carmen, Jerry, Sheila, Kyle, Neil, Kevin, Ernie, David, Vali, Brian, Doug, Bruno, Allen, Tanya, Chris, you each know of my work and my abilities to perform your job in a positive manner, I would like to let you each know that I will continue on the hours and the agreement I made with Sam. Please I would like to ask each of you to send me an email or give me a ring and let me know if that is something you would like for me to do, and if so I will gladly start on each on Monday, June 8th, 09. If not let me know and I will get back all spreadsheets, etc. That pertains to each of you. As for you Sam, I guess it is true after all, you did get the last laugh at my expense. I am so sorry that I had to bring so many people into this, but I cant take the rude calls I am getting from certain people. And I feel it must all be laid on the line, out in the open, so I can wipe my slate clean and continue with my work and family.

She is trying to blame Sam Dobbins the Cold Call King for all the mess, but in reality, she knew darn well, that she wasn't going to pay us for our work and our time.
She will probably be advertising for callers, since none of us will be calling for her come tomorrow morning. PLEASE, DO NOT go to work for this woman. YOU WILL NOT GET PAID! All you will get are excuses.
