The Lion Heart Group They're tricky... Be carful. I went on an interview

I just wanted to write my experience in regards to this so called "mutual evaluation". I too was sent the initial e-mail from a Mr. Mike Parker. They set it up pretty good for anyone whose been in sales before. Self motivated, highly-independant etc., etc. All the things you hear in any sales ad.
Out of curiousity, I answered there "online compatibility questionnaire". Surprise, surprise, I was accepted and an interview time and date was set up. I received serveral emails confirming my interview time and date along with a reminder email the day before.

When I showed up there were already about a dozen other applicants there. Sitting in the lobby of a small office filling out a questionaire. Something told me to leave right then, but what the heck, let's see what they have to say. They took us ALL into a small conf. Room where a woman began our "face to face" interview. This was nothing more than a slide show.

Believe me when I say, I have been around. I have done all types of sales, door to door vacuum in college, to business to business in running my own company for over 15 years, to most recently automobile sales and management. Never have I been on that type of "job interview"! It was more of a sales presentation! It went on for over an hour.

Within the first five minutes, something again said walk out and leave now, but again I failed to listen.

After the hour long presentation there was an question and answer session. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this is not a legitimite company or opportunity. The fact remains that you do have to purchase "your employment", and make no mistake you are not employed by the Lionheart Group. You are a 1099 independant contractor. The total price comes out to about $125.00 after membership and background checks.

I am not lacking in any self-confidence in anything I do. I have been at the top of my sales profession at every level, sales and management. However, I do not feel that I should pay for my employment, nor was I "sold" after the question and answer session.

In the end, they ask you to place a number on your questionaire from 1-10 on how interested you are in this opportunity. 10 being greatly interested. Those interested would then continue with the interview process. I wrote a 1 in the square, thanked the woman for her time and quickly walked away.

Anyone who might be interested in this opportunity, I beg you to ask yourself a few questions. They claim your selling an employee benefits package, however, I'm not so sure it can be listed as a benefit. Identify theft protection and Pre-paid legal can be purchased individually.

They claim that in can possibly be packaged as a "fringe" benefit. As we all know, Companies very rarely over "fringe" benefits anymore. It is a cost to every employee, $25.90 per month to be exact. Now then, once I sell the company of the "benefit" how do I go about selling all the employees. One to one, group presentation, what? How do I manage all the turnover within that company I sold. New employees etc., or does there HR Dept. Handle all this? If so, it's not my sales skills then taking over.

As stated in other postings, your potential $150,000.00 plus income, directly corralates to how many salespeople you bring on board.

In the end, this is really not much different than Amway or Herbalife, with the exception that they are marketing this very well.
