Looking at Level One's webpage, one might think that he or she might be about to apply at a professional business. Wrong! Don't be fooled by this "Boiler Room" scheme. Why they have new applicants show up for their first interview in business attire is beyond me. The entry level job is selling car wax and trying to get customers to get their damaged or cracked windshields replaced. All of this takes place at AM/PM's that Level One pays to use their property.
After I was so "lucky" to land a second interview with this joke of a company, the second interview consisted of going out in the field with three other workers to a gas station where I was there shadowing these newbies, watching them harass people who were just trying to fill up their tanks. The funny thing was, the owner of the AM/PM acted like he didn't even want us there! I'm sure his business will be affected by Level One aggravating his customers.
So after I was offered a job I was told to drive back to Level One which was a nice thirty minute drive from where we were. On my way there I was like f@#k this and drove home. Oh, and the pay for this 7:30-5:30 job is 30% commission, no hourly or base pay. So if you want to work for peanuts in 100 degree heat then Level One is calling...
