I am a new police officer in Myrtle Beach and I brought my car to this car wash against my better judgement. The on line reports are VERY correct-this grey haired owner is a loud mouthed RUDE proprietor. When the car wash guy had accidentally gotten gum on his shoe and dragged it into my interior with out noticing (I was watching him dry the car) I went over quickly and told him he was getting gum all over my rugs and seats... He jumped up as he was wiping the inside windshield and his arm knocked my mirror completely off the glass. When I politely explained to the owner that the kid didn't mean it but it was his responsibility to fix it HE STARTED YELLING AT ME AND THREW ME OFF THE PROPERTY. Like I did something wrong!!!
Also I checked with this "AWARD" and it is phony. It was only given to them because they donated car washes of which I was told "confidentially" by Mr. Smith of the Chronicle that the car wash ALWAYS damages cars and the owner has no skills to deal with the cars they are always scratching & scuffing... Especially the detail who never shows up AFTER you leave a deposit.
