In 2006 I purchased a skirt from kona @ 808surfnskate in the paypal shops. I sent the payment ($55) electronically and the seller said she'd ship my skirt when the payment had cleared.
She seemed skeptical about my paypal account since my address hadn't been confirmed and so she put a hold on the transaction. I was a bit upset about that because I was legit, she WASN'T!
The payment cleared without a problem but I NEVER recieved my skirt.
I emailed kona who said that I'd recieve my skirt from their California warehouse. It still never arrived so I filed a dispute with paypal.
She never responded to the dispute for weeks so I won the claim. I was refunded $3 some odd change and no skirt! This claim is still outstanding but thats all I ever got back.
So they had taken my money and I didn't even get anything! I later had seen her webpage on myspace where I asked kona to please send me my refund or something to equal the price. She assured me that she'd send me a gift pack and asked me my size.
WELL I NEVER did get that either. This company and kona is a total ripoff and doesn't show aloha to the customers!
