This Veterinarian advertises that he is 'homeopathic' and 'holistic.'
He was neglectful, arrogant, negligent, abusive in every way.
My beloved pet had kidney failure and I took the time to have an appointment that would hopefully get my baby on sub-q fluids and some good, natural modalities.
This horrible Veterinarian did absolutely nothing and wrongly told me that "sub-q does not work" and therefore he would not get me started on this protocol.
I spent a lot of money with this horrible man and was dismissed whenever I tried to call with my concerns. Often times he would make me feel guilty for bothering him and would always be in a rush to get off the phone. Often, he was outright rude and curt.
After waiting on this horrible man to do something responsible, I finally rushed my baby to an emergency vet who hooked my beloved up onto an IV and was in total shock that any veterinarian would disagree with sub-q for a kidney patient.
I believe strongly that the incompetence that we endured from this horrible veterinarian caused my baby to be dehydrated for way too long. I believe that this lessened her chances for survival.
Thankfully, a better veterinarian group had given the IV and sub-q that was needed, but she died within a few weeks.
This was the most harrowing time of my life.
I depended on the utmost professionalism of someone I was paying to help us, but this horrible veterinarian could have cared less and actually gave very irresponsible, and wrong advice.
When I called this horrible vet to tell him that his bad advice caused me such heartache, I was given an onslaught of obscenities over the phone with yelling. He yelled that I had "failed" my beloved pet and this was all of MY fault!
Unbelievable and corrupt behavior came out of that horrible vets mouth. The ugly side to this man that I had suspected was now out in full throttle.
I have spoken to several vets about this incident as well as a few Vet Schools in the area [where they give grievance counseling] and they were equally appalled at the terrible behavior of this irresponsible and abusive man who calls himself a veterinarian.
All animal lovers please be aware that just because someone advertises, and puts together a PR campaign with slick web sites, etc., that says they are "holistic" or anything else that is supposed to be cutting edge or even remotely caring, please have a healthy skepticism.
Check everyone out thoroughly and ALWAYS get a second or third opinion if someone or something does not seem right.
Consumers be aware and come together to demand responsible health care.
