How can the post office rightfully charge $4.95 to send Priority Mail when it is NOT guaranteed 2-3 day delivery? I've been suckered for the final time.
I run an online jewelry business. We USED to offer Priority Mail as a shipping option. Countless times, it has taken FAR longer than 2-3 days for our 5 x 7,3 ounce, bubble pack envelope to arrive at its destination. Most recently, it has been ONE WEEK and our customer STILL has not received her order.
The post office will NOT guarantee that Priority Mail reaches its destination within 2-3 days. Why then, do they charge $4.95 if they won't stand behind what they say?
Something needs to be done about this but who can do it? Who can I contact? Who can tell me why the post office does not stand behind this service?
