Fake Check looks real. Scam is to cash check and send money for taxes., Sudbury, or Ontario

Received letter with a real looking check. Check is drawn on Wells Fargo Bank in the amount of $4985.79.

Letter is addressed to "Dear Winner" instead of to my name. Letter says I am a winner in the "National Lotto Co-Operation Sweepstates Lottery, Shopping Award in conjucntion with the Samsung promotions held on March 7th inthe 2nd Category". The is has some lucky numbers and says that I have won $150,000.00 in US dollars. They want me to cash the check for $4985.79 and then send them $3998.00 via Western Union or Moneygram to a Tax Agent so that they can release my winnings.

Letter looks like it is from "Consumers Index" and has two addresses in the header. 150 Reed Rd, Sugarland, Tx 77478 USA and 54 John Ave W, Sudbury, ON P4C 3B5, Canada.

Says to call Horn Halifax at 1-647-219-1177 who is the tax agent.

Letter is from Mr. Francis Williams Promotion/Claim Manager.
