Oan - Info Dial Usa
False billing, proof of billing permission was falsified Internet

I noticed an additional $12.95 charge on our company AT&T bill this month from a company called OAN billed on behalf of INFO Dial USA, INC. For a long distance service that I had not authorized. I called AT&T and had our account blocked from any further third party billing, but was advised to call OAN/Info Dial USA to receive a credit.

In reaching OAN, I asked the representative "Ben" to provide me some proof as to how this was processed because the charges were unauthorized. He provided me via email with a first and last name of a "Sharon" as well as her email address, her maiden name, DOB and IP address. I have just emailed this "Sharon" to see if I receive any response as far as if she was a victim as well. Of course, there has never been anyone of that name associated with our company at all.interestingly enough, for OAN / Info Dial USA, Inc. To be reputable enough to piggy back their billing through AT&T, Ben the representative did not even have a company email address, but just a "hotmail" address.

This is a huge concern to me that a company as large and important as AT&T would be as lax as to allow this situation to occur in the first place. Even if the situation or business arrangement appeared legit in the first place, all AT&T would need to do to have a red flag raised is Google either OAN or Info Dial USA to see how unprotected and frustrated the innocent AT&T customers have become due to this unauthorized billing scam. Why would AT&T want or need to be associated with such a careless company and why aren't they doing more to protect their AT&T customers? Who is doing the homework for AT&T? I DEFINITELY want in on any class action lawsuits ensuing this. It is time to put a stop to such ridiculously sketchy billing scams and protect the innocent consumers. What about people who trust AT&T so implicitly that they DONT take the time to look over their itemized billing carefully? In that case, there is no telling how long that billing would continue and substantial funds would be pick pocketed out of trusting and loyal customers.

I am a busy office manager and I resent the time that has been taken away from other pressing matters to have to deal with this. As indicated on the web, there are many others out there have been robbed not only monetarily but of their time.
