My wife and I bought an adorable little puppy from this pet store one Saturday in February.By Sunday evening, we noticed him coughing and by Tuesday he was at the vet for a check-up. They told us he had kennel cough and gave him antibiotics. After treating what we thought was just kennel cough, we started to see some minor twitching in his front left leg. After another visit to the vet, we were told it was most likely distemper. Long story short, distemper it was, and after many more vet visits and a neuro specialist, there is nothing left we can do for him and he is being put to rest tomorrow. We are absolutely devastated.
Upon notifying the pet store that one of their puppies was ill, the pet store essentially did not care... And why should they, they have our money already, right? They offer absolutely no health guarantee, which really should have been our first sign not to even walk in there... But we were new at this. They offer no money back, and not even an option to pick out another pet. Both vets have confirmed he was ill at a very young age, based on his gradual condition decline since we've had him that they have witnessed. This pet store simply just turns a blind eye!
They are not concerned with the health of your puppy! They want your money only! Please stay away and stop them from doing this to more families.
