My husband's car was towed by and delivered to westway towing, inc.in fort lauderdale on 3/18/09. My husband's car is in my title, and so i was told i'd to become the someone to get the automobile. I had been physically unable to come get your vehicle, therefore described this to customer service and asked for any additional options. The initial woman i talked to there educated me that there is no other method of releasing the vehicle. I briefly named back to get the hours of procedure, which moment talked to your guy, who said i can generate a notarized page, providing my partner authorization ahead get my vehicle so long as both our titles, automobile id# and my trademark were about the notarized page. I wrote my letter and had a lender notary notarize it. My husband was not in a position to reach westway towing until 3/20/09 around noon, with our notarized letter at hand. The personnel looked over the notice, and instantly stated they could not take it since it have been changed, and ostensibly made him away. The letter wasn't altered by any means, condition or type. I wrote the notice, and saw the letter when my partner introduced it back tome, and nothing about the letter was changed or diverse. I named westway towing really angry for questioning us your vehicle - for an invalid cause. I told them the letter was just as i wrote it preceding which i had been very upset with how they conduct business, attempting to rip individuals off and hold their vehicles for no reason and continue to charge them a storage and daily fee every day. They said there is nothing they might do, they have the letter was altered and they were following procedure and may not allow my husband to get our automobile, despite i guaranteed them the letter was when i wote it but still is. They said sorry and there is nothing they could do. I told them that whenever and even if my husband can return to get your car that sameday - they'd better take our notarized letter and permit my husband to get your vehicle - or i'll have the police concerned. They did when i stated since they knew they'd have no option. I'll never return to westway towing easily might help it. They're cheats and liars and can try to hold your automobile longer than required simply to rip you off and continue charging you.
