I contacted RHI about temporary positions. They had an ad running in Craigs list, of all places. It said the starting pay to work at a bank was $21 an hour. I knew someone else there who had been hired at $25 an hour and told them that, but they hired me at less than 20 an hour. The ad said DAY positions. The people told me day positions. They took several weeks, and had me re-do my resume more than once so it would look better to the bank. The final resume was not really as things were for me and I considered it borderline fraud but they told me thats what was to be done. About a week into the process they called and said: "We are not saying it has to be this wasy but we are having schedule problems and so is the bank&if the only position open is a night shift could we put you down as a possible? I said said and of course was hired as night shift. They had NO day positions open, according to the bank. This was pure bait and switch.
As others were coming into the bank from RHI, many were mad and grumbling with the same concerns. They had been told $21 to $25 an hour and day shift but ended up night shift at much lower per hour rates. Everyone talked about there pay and it was clear that for the SAME positions, people were hired from around $11 (according to them) to a scale of $25. I sent some referrals to RHI Those people called me to complain about bait and switch and said they were treated poorly. My experience to that point had not been bad except for the time switch. All were mad about the Craigs list ad and advertised pay scale.
The bank was in total chaos. Their training was terrible. The people coming in had no experience but were represented as having it. I had to help many people.
They are dumping unqualified people off on employers. They are bait and switching people into lower pay and different hours. They abandon you and act arrogantly when you serve no purpose. I have on file names of other who called me and asked why they were treated so badly during phone interviews by one of the people in RHI. I didnt know this RHI person so couldnt answer.
I listened one night to an angry conversation between two bank supervisors. They were upsert over the quality of the people coming in from RHI and that the times of work represented to the employees were not what the bank wanted. I am appalled at the way RHI does business but do not want to tell who I am because I need this job.
