I worked for the Carrollton office for 2 yrs. The first year was great. Then a new office director named Felix and a new service manager named Terry Dalton came in and took over. Immediately people started quitting. Good honest dedicated employees. I would ask them why they were quitting. They would reply, there is a change coming and it was not good and they did not want to be there for it. Me being so new with the company did not know what they were talking about. But when i first started i noticed that most of the service techs had not been with the company very long. Then all of a sudden the work place abuse and harrassment started. Fisrt i was disciplined because i would not charge a CapStar account for 300-lbs of refrigerant that they already owned. Second i was disciplined because i told a customer what was wrong with their newly installed Trane equipment. Third i was disciplined because i refused to violate Trane company safety policy and put myself at risk for possible bodily injury or even death. Fourth i was disciplined for reporting unsafe work conditions and health issues at a dallas jobsite called Rosewood. Fourth i was disciplined for telling a Capstar employee at one property site about Trane equipment problems at another Capstar site that he had to go to periodically. I thought when i went to work for Trane that i was going to be working for a reputable company. When i reported these problems to Tranes code and ethics committe i was surprised how corrupt the company really is. After a poor investigation by tom stowers and david bates, the case was abruptly closed without any communication and i was terminated. Trane says they have a strict rule against retaliation for reporting problems at trane. They do have a rule, but they do not adhere to it.in my 35 yrs, of working in the HVAC industry, i was really surprised to find out how much corruption there is in a company like this. I urge each individual who reads this to do their own investigation and talked to someone who has actually worked for trane. You will be surprised. I have in my possession a lot of documentation to prove the statements mentioned in this report. Trane also offered me 2 weeks of extra pay if i would sign a release statement. If i signed the release i would be agreeing not to persue any legal action or to ever testify against trane without first consulting with them. Needless to say i did not need the money and even if i had i would not sign a document of this nature for anyone. If a company like trane, was honest and actually cared about their employess, why would they need and employee to sign a release of this nature. Best of luck to my few friends that are still stuck at trane and will probably loose their job sooner or later.
