I got the same issues as the report of Feb 5:
1. We were promised that the mover will do pick up on Feb 5 and 6.100% guaranteed. But they showed up on Feb 5, with no room to fit our stuff.
2. Second mover promised to come the next at 4 PM. But didn't showed up till we called at 10PM and tell them to come the next day.
3. The second mover - tripple 7, came in the next day and took our stuff without mention any abnormal charges until they are ready for delivery from Las Vegas. They charge us $800 - for packing TVs, Tables and Mattresses, along with other stuff. The boss of "tripple 7" is like Mafia. He give us a figure before sending the delivery people, and then said either you agree to pay for it, OR there will be a storage fee on top of it later and you will pay more later. If you don't want your stuff, I have no problem throw them away.
4. I called "World Moving Services" and asked for explanations. They can not give us exact details about the extra moving charge - way over initial quote.
5. I had conf call with "World Moving Services" and "tripple 7" regarding the extra packing charge, and agreed on paying the fee after confirm the packing quality at the delivery time.
6. When they arrived, they scheduled a late delivery at 7PM, they were late again.
7. When the mover showed up, it's not even from "tripple 7". It's another two brother company. Four companies involved so far.
8. The "Bill of Landing" was not correct on the calculation of the weight. So there was a $110 over charge and we refused to pay unless the number was corrected. But the boss from the "tripple 7" insist on paying whatever he demanded and ready to leave as he thought the wrong number is not from him. Untill I told him that the number and weight certification id all from "tripple 7", and will sue "tripple 7" if he does not unload our stuff, he gave up.
9. Regarding the wrong packing charge, like $11.5 X 5 = $240, like 28 blanket cost, etc, "tripple 7" refused to corrected and order his contractor to take our stuff away. We have to give up at the end and pay whatever he asked.
