In December of I signed up to get Direct tv installed. After listing options I was showed that my bill would be $48.86 a month. I thought this was all I needed to do to recieve all the rebates that are mentioned in their literature. Service and instaltion was no problem.in January got billed for $68.86 a month. Called to see what the problem was about the rebate deal. They said in did not go through on line but I could get it now plus an additional savings by paying through a credit card. So I enrolled in that thinking everything taken care of.in Febuary got credit card statement showing still $68.86.. Called again. They said they have to wait till the rebate was recieved THEN they give you the discounted rate. I was told it was NOT recieved in January but will go into effect now. But they will not credit my account for Jan or Feb for the difference. Why do they think I called them in January? No where in their ads do they say when the rebate will go into effect or that they have to wait for awhile. I think this is completely misleading.
