I too made the mistake of ordering CD from Easy Fortune.
Got their phone # from the activity screen on line banking. Ordered CD 1/30, posted to my account 2/2 $1.96 Charged my Visa, 2/09 $69.95
Received CD on 2/12 Called when I saw Charge on my Visa card 866-519-5308 2/12 Could not understand name of person I t/t, but he told me I would receive
e-mail form, to fill out and return to them, cancelling my account, and get a refund for the $69.95 on 2/13 10:15am
No e-mail rec'd, called back again, t/t Ray, told me the same thing, email coming, fill it out for refund and cancellation 2/16,10:20am Again, no e-mail rec'd, called again, got Ray on the phone again, transferred me to another division??? Automated response, transferred again to automated response asking for my name and phone number, which I left. 2/18 10:05AM.
I finally got smart called my Bank, filed a complaint, requested a charge bank, which they granted and the $69.95 will be crediting to my account tomorrow.
I it's funny, after all of this, I get a e-mail moments ago, with link to Easy fortune 500, and when I clicked on it, it went no where.
Lesson well learned, of course I had to go to your website to see that I was not the only one.
I found it odd that this Company does not list any addresses, nor state of operation. You can't find it anywhere. There was no return address on the envelope I received the CD in. Hand written address, and just "Easy Fortune 500 written in the return address section.
I feel that that $1.96 I spent to lean this lesson was not bad. And I was able to get a charge back thru my bank. Even the bank did not have any address available, just the phone number.in this current time of so many people having financial difficulties, it's a shame that there are people out there doing this. If I knew where they were located, I 'd call the FBI, and report them for Interstate Fraud. Better than that, I'd show up at their office and really give them what for.
