I recently ordered Miu Miu handbag from mimiandporter.com. I have experienced the worse shopping experience ever.
2 days after I had placed an online order, I asked for the order to be cancelled saying that I want to wait for new collections and perhaps make my decision then. My credit card hadnt been charged yet. All that happened was me placing the order online.
Despite my harmless request I was told that the matter must be discussed with the sales manager for the final decision to be made. My credit card got charged few days later.
I was still asking for the order cancellation and in that situation a refund. The matter was still being discussed with the manager. The whole dispute whether my cancellation reason is valid lasted about 2 weeks.
Eventually I got information that the order shipped to me. I also received tracking order. I checked where the item was just to find out that it was sent to United Kingdom and someone collected it and signed up for it. I was ordering to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
I requested a refund again. It has been about 4 weeks now since I started dealing with mimiandporter.com. Again I am being told they need to investigate the shipment.

I didnt expect them to refuse to cancel my order. It feels like I was forced into this order once I gave card details. Also even if I wanted to block the transaction with my bank, the transaction didnt appear as mimiandporter.com but some Canadian based business.
It seems "impossible" to receive money back from them.
I also have authenticity issues as I noticed that they ship from China but trade in US dollars. All the replicas are produced in China so I assume they sell replicas as authentic products. There is no other reason why they would be shipping from China, unless this is where their products are manufactured.
I would recommend thinking twice before you start doing business with them.
