I received a letter from Astral Research Services Inc. Stating that I had been selected to be a secret shopper in my area... Along with the letter were instructions on where I needed to go, paperwork to fill out, and a $3,000 check. Oddly, the check was from XOG Operating LLC, a gas and oil company (???). I decided to give them a call...
XOG claimed that they had never heard of that company, and why would they pay for MoneyGram secret shopping when they deal with gas? Good question.
I called Astral back and told them this info. They said they didn't know why they'd say that and what was I doing telling people, it's supposed to be confidential... Deposit your check and have a nice day.
Then I looked up Astral Research Services Inc online. They are not listed anywhere, except on this website. Couldn't find them by address or phone either.
Nice... People make me nuts. Get a life and make some EARNED money instead of ripping others off!!!
