"Secret Shopper" Lette

I received a letter from General Services stating that I was selected to participate in a Consumer Research Program or in other words become a Secret Shopper. They enclosed a check for $4,380.00 and said I was to use it as follows:

1.) Probation training pay = $100.00/hour x 3 $300.00
2.) Required fund to be transferred $3790.00
3.) Service charges $180.00
4.) Funds needed for shopping $110.00

I did some research before I did anything with the check and found out its was a scam. I am a unemployed college student who is really strugling and I think that it is VERY wrong to scam innocent people like these people are doing.
