I called in response to help wanted ad. I was told there was a $58 fee to set up a website for me and then $19.95 per month for monthly info on casting calls. I called back within 20 minutes to cancel and told that they were already setting up my website and that I could not cancel the $58 fee but that after 30 days I could cancel the $19.95 per month if I still did not want the service.
I did go to "MY" website but it said and still says that I am not an active member. I tried the link at the botton of the site that said contact us but it would not submit my message. I have also tried calling the phone number I originally called and no one ever answers.
My credit card was charged the $19.95 in Dec. 2008 and I called the # on my credit card bill (760) 471-4500 and it says the # is not in service.
I had to put a stop on the whole credit card until this is resolved. I am at least hoping they will call me to find out why the charge is not going through and hear their explanation.
I knew it was stupid when I did it! I can't believe I fell for this, but it shouldn't be so easy for these scam artist to just keep billing your credit card.
