Was lured to website through pop-up ad. Joined website that was lured to. As soon as credit info was entered, and approved, was slammed with pop-up ads. Original website dissapeared. Called customer service number that I wrote prior to entering info and they told me that they do not represent that site but did have transaction info and that the site I joined was massivemedia. Tv. I told them that I did not to join this site and to immediately cancel memvbership as I had not visited this site. They told me they would cancel membership.
When I got my credit card statement, it was charged two times in one billing cycle. I called the phone# and was put on hold for over twenty minutes. They told me that i joined this site, did not cancel membership and that they would not credit my account. I told them I would let my credit card company handle it then. I never went to this site and logged in, not even 1 time. Was lured there deceptively, which was how they got my info. Then put on hold so long that they figured i would hang up. I do not mind paying for websites as I do once in a while.
I do not however pay for services not provided and to merchants who aqquire my credit card info in deceptive ways. This company is a scam, Can not even find their website. Only way to reach them is phone # above, if you want to wait and see if they will ever take you off hold. Live and learn. But they won't get away with this scam for long.
