Steve Ashworth was hired on 9/26 to complete a remodel consisting of a new kitchen backsplash, new bathroom, and new patio doors for a price of $3000.00. $1800 dollars was provide upfront for cost of materials. On 10/11 the contractor was paid an additional $800 dollars ($150 to fix a gate hinge, $450 for two 18" X 6' double hung door panes and $200 toward balance) with only the completion of the backsplash and half of the bathroom completed on 10/11. The bathroom was not completed until the end of october beginning of november with very poor quality work. The rest of the work has yet to be completed without any contact from the contractor and attempts to contact him have been made.
