Copper wire theft

When we were gone, someone broke into our house and stripped the entire house of all copper wire. They then went and sold it to The Yaffe Companies Incorporated. We even showed them proof that the wire was, indeed, from our house! There was no question in the world that it was OUR wire that was stolen and then sold to these guys. Yet, they refused to give us our wire, compensate us or give the money back to us that was indirectly stolen.
