These guys are so inept it is hard to know where to begin... So i will make it brief... They damaged both my rental property and a new very expensive mattress. They SAY they are insured... But asking who covers them will elicit no response...
By the way its AEGIS Ins Svcs Inc... They just do not want to provide you with that once you DO get them on the phone... After we moved and needed to contact them r.E. Damages, they WILL NOT provide a working fax number to send required documents... Look closely and you will see that the business line is the same as the fax line... And getting them to shut the normal number down long enough to forward documents was like getting a refund on a losing lottery ticket... If you bother them long enough... Over a period of time, they will eventually get to it...
Returning a message is out of the question and never happened. You have to catch these people off guard to speak customer service... Unless you want a bid for a move... Our brand new mattress now has NO resale value now, and more important the tears/stains/dirt left by the 'kids' who performed the move have voided our warranty... For good.
I can tell you that the very few dollars you save (if any) is simply not worth the headaches, misinformation and poor customer service performed by MARVIN and crew. They dodge and stonewall... All the earmarks of a company that has earned a place on ROR.
We provided photos, receipts and promptly forwarded a claim for damages... And are contacting AEGIS directly to see if in fact a claim was ever submitted. If not, we will send pertinent documents to Missouri Insurance Commisioner. I will recommend using a more prominent recocgnizable firm to associates in the future... A move with moovers is a BAD move... So to speak. Do NOT use them, folks.
