Dear worried-person-seeking-capital,
I downloaded Growthink's '10 Private Placement Sins' booklet. Most of my colleagues thought I was nuts to pay a company the money they wanted for a PPM, and after they saw this 'Guide' their feelings were only reinforced.
I have no doubt that Growthink has stolen from hundreds of people over the past some odd years. Their 'Guide' can fool the uneducated but they cannot fool those that know.
I am not also not one to complain about work that I received, but Growthink PPMs are really really quite bad. My collegues think I am crazier now, and I am sure you, the reader, does as well. But when someone is seeking to raise $20 million and is told that 'oh yes, no problem, we can help with everyting', be cautious. I learned the hard way.
Better to find a company with real attorneys who can get in real trouble for writing crap like we paid for.
