I placed my order for the Nesting 3 Piece Vase set on 10/29/08 and paid $81.12 by credit card. I recieved the vase on 11/7/08. The middle vase was cracked when I opened the box. I sent an email to [email protected] stating this and requested a replacement vase ASAP as my wedding was 11/21/08. I received no response and sent a second email on 11/11/08 stating it was my second request. On 11/12/08 I had to call long distance and was told that I should not respond to the invoice email and expect a receipt. I advised her I went to the website and got the email from there. She proceeded to tell me that they inspected the vase before it was shipped so I probably broke it when I opened it. I advised her that was not the case and she informed me I needed to send pictures to [email protected]. With the limited amount of time before my wedding I found it absurd that she assumed I had a digital camera and easy access to a computer. I sent the email with attachments on 11/12/08 and requested a response. I did not receive a response. I had to call again on 11/13/08. I was told the images were received. She told me to keep the broken vase so that UPS could look at it and confirm that UPS broke it. Then she advised me that she would send me a new center vase express and I should received it Monday 11/17 or Tuesday 11/18. On Tuesday 11/18 I called long distance again to verify shipment. She again reiterated that I broke it so I would have to pay shipping. After I reiterated I was told I would have the vase by 11/18 she put me on hold and came back and told me it would be engraved that day and sent express and I would receive 11/20,1 day before my wedding. She also advised me she would send me a tracking number by 6 pm 11/18. I never received a tracking number. I had my fiance call on 11/19. She told him that they shipped it 11/19 and I would get it Friday 11/21 before noon. That was not acceptable as no one would be available to receive it as my wedding was that day. I then received an email stating that my card would be charged an additional $87.00 for the new vase and express shipping. I called and told them that I HAD NOT authorized that charge to my credit card and that it was fraudulent. She had the nerve to tell me that they were trying to make my wedding day as least stressful as possible. The solution she offered was to have someone at my house the morning of 11/21/08 to accept the shipment of the vase and give the broken vase back to the UPS driver. I proceeded to go to the bank to cancel my credit card so they could not process the additional charge and to dispute the first charge of $81.12 as I doubted the vase would arrive in time. On Friday November 21st the new vase arrived at 2:30 pm-two and half hours after the promised time and I was not able to use it as everyone had to be at the event by 3:30 pm and were gone.
