I ordered one of the 'hearing aid' kits sometime around June, and enclosed a check for the roughly $11 (including S&H).
My check was cashed in July.in September, I think, I got a post card saying the product would be shipped "soon".
The product finally arrived in December and turned out to be totally useless. I have a very minor hearing problem, according to my wife, who frequently asks me to turn down the TV sound, but the product did absolutely nothing to improve my hearing.
I wrote a note, put it in the box, and mailed it back to them (I paid the postage), asking for a refund. This was in December. So far (late February), no response. I called the number (1-514-344-4747) in their latest ad, and was on hold for roughly 10 minutes. Today, I get a constant busy signal.
Based on the dozens (or hundreds) of other consumer complaintss, I'm not alone. What can be done about these sleaze balls?
