I ordered a product (Super Mini Hearing Aid) from JD Marvel Products on 9/11/02 and sent check to cover the cost and shipping. My check was cashed but I never received the merchandise.
I wrote a note to the company (10/22/02) and told them I never received the merchandise, but as of 11/13/02 I have still not received the product or any communication from JD Marvel Products.
I have, however, received their latest catalog in case I want to get ripped off again! Something should be done and done soon as I see there are some 700 reports of people who have similar stories. I wonder how many more have been taken advantage of, but who have not filed reports. I would imagine that number is in the 100's as well.
I would guess that the company realizes that no one will sue or hold them accountable for their actions as it would cost far more to prosecute than to just write it off as a bad experience. This company needs to be made accountable.
