I was somehow signed up for American Fone AMR long distance phone service through a purchase I made from tigerdirect.com. I bounced two cheques because of the unexpected charges of 61.02 every month over a period of 6 months. I got their phone number from my bank and called them. They were very polite and apologetic and promptly refunded 2 months as well as my two returned cheque fees after I faxed them to them.
This was all in November, when the promised that the last 4 refunds they would send me by check, "within several weeks". It's now the nearing the end of February and I have recieved nothing. I have called them several times and recieve some lame apologetic excuse and more promises that it still is coming.
This thing really makes me sick, that a company could get away with doing this. Maybe this goes on every day and I should be happy I got a little bit of my money back.
Any more information about how to get my money back or further action against this fraudulent company I would be glat to support.
