I went to a us govt site that explains the right to a once a yr free credit report. I went to the site and asked for the reports from all 3 credit reporting agencies. Completed the forms that asked for personal info and qus to confirm im who i am. It said im done and to ask for my free reports. Guess what? It demanded $7.95. Last i checked, the word free doesnt mean $7.95! Govt made it law to be able to get these free reports once a yr. Ive never asked for a credit report before. Dont waste your time trying to get a "free" credit report. The crooks are liars and want money after a free report is my right!!!
