I hired this company around the middle of October, They (the owner Matthew Alferes) agreed to repair first bath room, (a converter for shower and bath,) replace a faucet/new insides on comode, They then repaired a small leak (they replaced a small nipple thingie on the water line to the refrigitor, For the master bath they were to take out a 60 inch vanity repace the new vanity and stop the leaks under the sink." They cut a hole in the sheet rock"nothing else. They came late or not at all. They came and did a job across the stree, did not call or come by to say they weren't going to work on my job etc. Just quit showing up. When I called Matthew would answer the phone, lay it down and talk with some one. And giggle. I got their attention by saying they were fired.
I gave them $100.00 and a coupon to home depot for $10.00, as a down payment. That was after they aggreed to a $440.00 for the entire job. Matthew then billed my credit card $440.000 the agreed amount was 440.00 for the full job. I told Master car / Citi Bank not to pay Matthew as he had not finished the job, he was an unethical business person. Lazy and showed an attitude of: " I can do what I want when I want!"
After Citi Card did review of my disput x's two they paid him.
