Refund delays

10/9/08 Talked to DirecTV regarding a credit of $29.65 due me and was told it would arrive in 6 to 8 weeks (By 12/2).
10/18/08 Called back and discussed an additional credit due me of $53.04 and was told it would arrive in 6 to 8 weeks (By 12/18).
On 12/9/08 I called DirecTV and talked to a Blanche who stated the credit would be posted to my credit card on or before 12/12. I queried why it took so long when the credit was posted on my 11/18 statement and was told its standard policy.
On 12/13/08, I checked and verified credit had not been posted. Called DirecTV and talked to an Andrea who checked and stated she had passed my account on to another group within DirecTV to review and issue a check which I could expect to see in 12 business days (By 12/30).

We are out 9 1/2 weeks on the first credit and will be at 12 weeks by the time I receive payment, if it gets processed as stated. We are at 8 weeks on the second credit due and will be out at and at 10 1/2 weeks by the time I receive payment, again, if it gets processed as stated. This is well past what the company has specified as standard and totally unacceptable.
