I found the company online at craigslis.org as A1 corporate security, they have a number to call to ask for ms Perry. I called and supposedly spoke to ms Perry, she said i would need $80 for fingerprints and paperwork processing, so I scheduled an interview for the next day.
I got there I saw R.T.C. E and not A1, I also thought I would see Ms Perry which to this day still have'nt met. I filled out an application form and was interviewed by someone name Mr William.
He said i could start work as early as the next tuesday I would need to take an anti terrorism class that evening of Nov 28. I took the class, they never drug test me or give me any more information regarding a job, but told me I need to pay the balance to get my certificate, so I came the next day to pay the $194 got the certificate, they then send me to see Ms Sanchez who then give me a referral letter to another security company for an interview, Topguard which they said would pay $12.50hr.
They never mention anything about being a training school or having to go out on interviews. To add insult to the injury I went to the interview at topguard security and the manager basically told me that they do not work with the company, he knows nothing about the company and do not take referrals from them either.
He showed me about 8 referrals he got that morning alone from the same R.T.C. E that he unfortunately had to turn away. He also said they pay their guards $10hr not the $12.50 R.T.C. E promised, also they only ask for 8 and 16 hr certificates, the anti-terrorism cerificate I got from R.T.C. E is not needed.
Two days later I returned mad as h*ll to find out whats going, Ms Sanchez made a sorry excuse about there was some kind of mistake, she then send me to another company Summit Security and the same thing, they do not take referrals from that company, they didnt even know who those guys was, only the people they keep sending to them. Both companies turn you away at the desk, not even a chance for an interview. Now im out $247 and no job!
