I received a phone call one day about a discounted magazine subscribtion, so I agreed to have a payment of 39.27 charged to my card every month for 36 mths.
For the first 6 mths. I received the magazines as promised, then nothing. All the subscribtions stopped coming and I had no contact info at all. About 4 mths later I get a call from the company asking about the magazine issues, and I told them that I had not received any thing in over 4 mths. The company said that they were having an issue with the magazine company sending out the total number of issues.
To make this short and sweet, it was never them and there was no way to cancel.
I was offered what sounded like a discount on my total amount owed, and the next thing I know my card is being charged 4 different payments. All these payments range between $39.00 and $79.00 dollars every month
To top it all off, I have called the 800 listed beside the payments and I either get a person saying that this isnt the right number or that I must have a subscribtion with another company, because our records only show 1 payment a month for $39.27.
~Not to mention I am not receiving any magazine issues either~
I have contacted my card company, but a stop payment would cost $20 dollars for each transaction...
