I bought a home computer from Rent a center and paid why to much. $4,460.27!! After I paid it off I ask for my disk or operating system. I felt that it was mine, it went to my computer right? Wrong! Not according to them. They told me that if something went wrong that they would still fix it for free. Well something did, when I called them they did say they would fix it but I would have to RENT a computer from them until they could fix mine! Why would I do something stupid like that again? $4,460.27 was not enough for them they wanted more! I have tried to get in touch with corporate but never heard back from them. All I want is my operating system. (Windows XP)
After all, if I went to best buy (were I should have went) I would have payed a lot less and had all of my own disk. How many people are using the same operating system from them. I wounder if Micro soft knows about this?
