I worked for this horrid woman for a long time and have never seen a business more poorly ran than by Christy Wisemore. Do not let the names of her business fool you. Jays Learning Center and Little Rascals Learning Center are the same company and owned by the same people. I have seen first hand how she changes people's accounts to were everyone owes her money even if they didn't before; I have caught her in many lies, and know first hand how she does not like to pay her employee's checks that are owed to them because you made her mad.
Her location on Barry Road was shut down by state. Her reasoning is that the lady from state hates her and has it out for her. Completely untrue! If she wasn't such a horrible business owner then it would not have happened. Two-Two year old children were found (not by state) playing outside in front of one of the buildings on Barry Road, which is a really busy street, and when state showed up the day she got shut down, four children were playing outside in the front of the building, which was of course blamed on a parent who they said let the children walk out the front door.
Her Buckner location is about to get shut down because all of her staff and parents left. There are only a handful of children left at this daycare. The director left because of Christy's lies and horrible business antics, and two other staff members left with the director. When the parent's found out that the staff was leaving, they left to. All of the parents stated that the only reason that they brought their children to the daycare was because of the staff, and staff only. They all expressed their DISLIKE (not a strong enough word) for the owner Christy Wisemore, and had stated from the beginning that if the staff ever left, then they would be gone also.
Christy is telling people that the director spread lies and rumors so that the parent's would leave when she left. COMPLETELY UNTRUE! The director never had to say anything, because the parent's saw it first hand. Christy Wisemore lets her own children run the daycare without supervision and expects her employees to watch them during business hours. Her children are unruly and do not listen to anything you say because "their mom owns the daycare." One of her children caught her bedroom on fire back in August and that is what she is calling "the office fire."
If her and her children are at the daycare after business hours, she lets them run the daycare and destroy it, then leaves it for whoever is lucky enough to open it up the next day or the following Monday and when you question her about it she lies and says that her children were never in the daycare, even though you have eye witnesses saying that the front door was wide open and they saw her children running in and out of the building all weekend. I have spoken to two ex-employees who have not received their paychecks yet, and it is not their last paychecks.
I can tell you that Christy is holding their paychecks because they made her mad because they found out what type of person she was and decided that was not the type of person they wanted to work for and it cheesed her off. I have seen her change parent's accounts so that they owe her money, when they did not before. She has gone all the way back to January and changed accounts so that they owed her. She says that the director at the time charged the parent's wrong and so she went back and charged them the "correct amount owed" which made the parent's have a larger balance.
She cannot keep parent's accounts straight to save her life. Christy also owes the IRS money and could not keep the business in her name so she had to put it in her mother's name. Nothing gets fixed around the daycare, her employees have to fix whatever needs fixing, the grass never gets mowed unless state is visiting or they get wrote up for their grass being taller than the children, the director sometimes did not receive petty cash to buy groceries for the daycare for three weeks sometimes and the employees had to come out of pocket to buy groceries for the children.
She has not paid her un-employment since 2005 and as of September had not paid the mortgage on the building for three months. At least once a month the gas company, electric company, or phone company would call or come by to shut the utilities off because of non-payment. She bad mouths parent's for having questions on their accounts that she purposely messed with. After business hours she would smoke in the daycare. If a director quits, and something is messed up with parent accounts or anything for that matter, then it is the former directors fault.
Christy does not take blame for anything. It is always someone elses fault. Christy uses business credit cards for her own personal use, example her daughters $2000 bedroom set. There is nothing wrong with someone using their business accounts for personal use as long as the business itself is getting what it needs and the bills are being paid. Which in this case the daycare was getting nothing that they needed and the bills were not paid. I have seen her take money that the daycare has made from fundraisers and keep it for her and the daycare does not see a penny from it. Christy Wisemore is a liar, cheat, and immoral person that will do anything to get what SHE wants no matter the cost. I would recommend that no one give their time or money to this woman.
