I was suspicious of "satellitecareers.com" when I got asked all kinds of questions about schools I would like to attend and getting out of debt inquiries.
I should have done the search then on "satellitecareers.com". But after filling out the email notification and logging into the site with their supplied user and password, I really felt something was not right when asked more detailed information about education choices.
"satellitecareers.com" makes you feel the employer is more likely to hire a candidate that is willing to pursue higher education.
Unfortunately, I already sent in all kinds of personal information from my resume. Hopefully it got trashed and they won't use it. I think all the other questions are not processed except for the information "satellitecareers.com" is really after...
Email addresses and phone numbers of valid contacts that you just declared as your references.
Immediately, emails are sent to your references and a tiny 4-5 question form is sent to them. I believe the only purpose of the form is to make the site look legit, as it confirms the email address is valid and that they have a live person where they can phish for more information.
And the cycle continues...
Warning! Bottomline, I have not heard anything from "satellitecareers.com" after that. "satellitecareers.com" is definitely a scam company that does not deliver connections to potential employers.
