Unethical, dishonest, cruel psychics? Actually the customer service, the company itself is like that! Internet Based Internet Based in the US

I have had only one reading with a psychic from Asknow. Well, I didn't spend much money, I'll be honest. The reason I'm writing this report is not so much because the reading was awful and untrue but because the company's unethical, dishonest behavior really upset me.

The reading was pretty bad and so I left a low rating for the psychic. My rating still hasn't appeared on the website. I left a rating on September 26th or 27th. I checked everyday to see if it appears on the site under the psychic's page.

Other people's ratings were appearing there immediately and they were high ratings, 4 star and 5 star ones. Mine still wasn't there. I started to get suspicious that they were choosing all the good ratings to put on the psychic's page to mislead customers. After all I chose that psychic because of her good ratings and the reading turned out not so amazing.

I called on October 3rd and spoke with a male customer service agent. He said, "Oh that's strange. Well, I think the tech people just haven't had a chance to put yours up yet. You can send them an email at [email protected] and ask what's up" So I emailed the same day and didn't receive a reply.

I called the customer service again on October 17th, 08 and spoke with a female agent named Judy. She said I didn't even call on October 3rd and that I have never spoken with a male agent etc. Totally lying. Then she spoke to her supervisor and said, "Well, not all ratings make it on there because we don't have enough room" I asked, "Well first of all, the male agent I spoke with didn't say the same thing and if what you're saying is true then how do you choose which ratings appear and which ones don't?" She's like, "I can't tell you that."

I asked her if I could get my money back because I felt like it was unethical for a company to deliberately mislead customers by filtering ratings and it seemed like she was hiding it. She said she wouldn't give me a refund because the service is about psychics not fortune tellers and that I shouldn't believe everything they say. The reason I asked for a refund wasn't even that. It was because I knew that they were holding back my rating because it was low.

I got my account closed that same day. You know what? Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if that Judy woman pretends that she never spoke to me or that I even had an account there! She was totally lying to me about e speaking to a male agent who told me something quite different than her. Either they don't know their job or they're people who'd do anything to defend themselves and what's worse, they would mislead clients by filtering out the low ratings and lie about it.

I just think it's awfully unethical. Other psychic networks at least let all ratings appear. So I don't buy that whole no-room-for-all-ratings nonsense.

Other people may tell me, "Oh I've had no problems with AskNow. They have good psychics" etc. Well, the thing is if you've had good readings and no reasons to get into conflict with the customer service, of course your experience is good. It's when you see something that shouldn't be happening and contact them, they'd do anything to save their own butts and keep your money and defend their psychics however bad readers they may be.
