Yes, the Green Bags are a rip-off. Google shows many complaints — some of which are unheeded.

I gave four bags to neighbors to check them out and kept four more for myself.

I tested peaches, tomatoes, squash and, yes, bananas side-by-side with plain zip-lock bags (drying out moisture per instructions from Deal Old Debbie) — both in the frig and on a countertop. Guess what?

— no difference between debbie meyers green bags and clear plastic zipper bags.

— all began to spoil within a few days.

I am very disappointed. Could not find any mailing address or 800 number to call the bag company.
